Market Direction: BULLISH alert issued 02/20/2014
The market continued to demonstrate volatility this week. However, the S&P 500 finished higher led by a spark in the energy sector. In addition, the Dow Jones Average also rose sharply showing a gain of 382 points and the Nasdaq finished the week flat. The market's positive action this week was the result of strong corporate earnings and positive economic data, which was very encouraging considering the recent market volatility and declines.
We here at StockmarketDirection.com wish each of you and your families a very joyous Happy Easter!
Economic Calendar: Existing Home Sales (4/22) and New Home Sales (4/23).
Some of the major earnings announcements on deck: HAL, NFLX, RCII, HOG, MCD, UTX, XRX, AMGN, T, RAI, AAPL, SYK, WHR, F, CL
